All three Bass Island Airports are operated and maintained by the Put-in-Bay Township Port Authority and are unlit therefore NIGHT OPERATIONS ARE PROHIBITED. Night Operations are defined as 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise. All Bass Island Airports are unattended and operate on a frequency of 122.8. Fuel is NOT available on any of the Bass Islands. Fuel is available 7 days a week at
Erie/Ottawa International Airport (KPCW).
Parking fees are $11 per day and $16 for overnight. There is a self-registration desk in the terminal building for payment of parking fees. Aircraft parking is monitored regularly and an additional billing fee of $10 is charged if invoicing is required. Monthly, Semi-Annual and Annual Fees are also Available.
Canadian residents must go through customs prior to landing at any of the Bass Islands. Customs check in is available at Erie/Ottawa International Airport (KPCW). Electronic filing through eAPIS is required prior to arrival.
